API pricing model and economics
Beyond the sticker price, the question that usually comes up for a deployer (integrator, software vendor, white-label partner) differs from a direct customer's: it isn't "how much will I pay", but "how does this cost behave when volume is triggered by my own system rather than by regular human use". That's what this page covers; for a direct budget estimate, see AI voice agent pricing.
Why usage-based billing rather than a flat package
A flat package works well for stable, predictable volume. It becomes risky as soon as volume is triggered by an external event (a marketing campaign, a seasonal peak, an integration that calls automatically on every new lead): a quiet month costs the same as a busy one, and an unexpected spike can blow past the package with no warning. Per-minute billing for voice calls avoids this: cost follows real duration, in both directions.
The Callifly model's foundation
No subscription, pay only for what you use: €0.25 excl. VAT per voice minute, €0.30 per SMS, €0.10 per chat message, €0.50 per WhatsApp message, €0.10 per email. The same model applies whether the agent is used through the Callifly dashboard or triggered via the API: the billing logic doesn't change based on the access channel.
Estimating cost when volume is driven by your system
For an API integration where your own system triggers the calls (new lead, abandoned cart, CRM event), monthly cost depends on those triggers. For voice, estimate call minutes, not the number of calls. For the other channels, estimate the number of messages, then apply that channel's rate. There is no per-agent fee. The simulator on the pricing page lets you test several volume scenarios.
The white-label special case
For a partner deploying Callifly in white label to their own clients, partner pricing is defined separately based on aggregated expected volume across all deployed clients, not channel by channel as in direct use. This is scoped with the Callifly team before rollout.
Frequently asked questions
Does the price change if volume is triggered automatically rather than manually? No, the per-minute voice rate and the per-message rate on other channels stay the same regardless of how the call is triggered.
Is there a discount for high, predictable volume? For significant volume, contact the team to evaluate pricing suited to your scale.
How can I know in advance what an API integration will cost? By estimating voice minutes, or the number of messages on the other channels, then applying that channel's rate on the pricing page's simulator.
